The End of Term 2 Approaches

This Friday marks the end of a most unusual and unprecedented term of schooling. As a school, we feel very proud of our collective efforts to rise to the many challenges that have come our way during this time. We pray and hope that restrictions across the country will continue to be reduced in the weeks and months ahead. Likewise, I hope to be in a better position to provide our community with updated information prior to the resumption of Term 3. At this stage, it looks like we will commence the term with the current health and safety measures remaining in place.

On behalf of the staff team, I take this opportunity to thank our parent community for your continued support. The majority of our parents have had to, at some stage, balance the demands of working from home with supporting their child’s learning from home....a tricky juggling act to say the least. When school did finally return in Week 6, all parents have shown nothing but support for the necessary adjustments and changes to routines. Well done and thank-you!

I take this opportunity to once again acknowledge the tremendous work of our staff during a very tumultuous past few months. They have embraced new ways of working, whilst being consistently responsive to feedback. The flexibility, creativity and genuine care and concern that they displayed for the students throughout such an unsettling time, has been so very inspiring!
