St. Thomas' Catholic School will be a welcoming community for those desiring to live Gospel values in the Catholic tradition.  Those eligible for enrolment include members of St. Thomas' worshipping community and Catholics within the Parish.  Further places will be offered to Catholics beyond the Parish boundary.  Families of children with older brothers and sisters already in the school who are active participants in St. Thomas’ Parish community, are given first consideration.  Other applications are considered in accordance with the school’s enrolment policy.

Birth and Baptismal certificates, and copies of immunisation certificates should be presented with the completed enrolment form.

Enrolment Process

The enrolment process involves the sharing of information between the family and the school so that an informed decision can be made about the child's entry into St. Thomas' School.

When the Application for Enrolment is completed it must be returned to the School Office by the due date, so the enrolment process can proceed.  An interview with the Principal or Assistant Principal will be arranged at a later date.  This meeting is a vital part of the information sharing process.  If the enrolment application is successful, a Confirmation of Enrolment form needs to be completed.  A non-refundable Confirmation of Enrolment Fee of $55.00 per child is due when enrolment is confirmed and this form has been completed and returned.

An Orientation Day in October/November is an opportunity for new parents/caregivers to meet other families as well as being a time to share further information about a child's entry into St. Thomas' Catholic School. Early in the first term of the following year a parent/caregiver night is held to provide an opportunity for further discussion.
