Living Loving and Learning in Faith

It only seems like yesterday that we welcomed students and families back to Term 3 and already Week 4 is almost complete. When we remember our own past we think positively of events that promoted connections. Yesterday’s Athletics Carnival was indeed one of those events. The sense of connection between students, volunteers, staff, parents and grandparents was indeed strong and present yesterday. This sense of connection leads to wellbeing and the winter sunshine and perfect day was certainly good for mind and body. Thank you to Janet who works tirelessly behind the scenes to organise the event. A special thank you to the plethora of volunteers who worked willingly and enthusiastically all day. I think we can agree that the Athletics Carnival was indeed a huge success!!

Likewise, connections and good vibes were certainly felt at the Year 5/6 camp last week. It was an absolute joy to be a part of this event. The children made us proud and learned many a valuable lesson about team work, encouragement and mindset. A special thank you to Miss Carroll and Mrs Clark who remain steadfastly calm in the face of challenges. Thank you for taking time out to be with our St Thomas’ children for the full 3 days.
