School Houses

At St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School, we define our School Houses for pastoral and sporting purposes through significant people who have contributed to the parish and school community. Upon enrolment, students are allocated to a School House.

Our School Houses are:

House Description
Kelleher Named after Sr. Patrick Francis Kelleher, who was the first Good Samaritan Sister at the school.
Manning Named after Miss Manning, who was the first lay teacher.
Perkins Named after Fr Arthur Perkins, who was the first parish priest.
Zammit Named after Sr Carmela Zammit, who was the last Sister of the Good Samaritans on the teaching staff at St Thomas. Sr Carmela retired in 2004 but remains an active member of our community through volunteering to support younger students with their reading progress.
